My name is Billy C. Pate. I'm 48, doing time in Texas for dealing cocaine. The judge gave me 10 years. My next parole hearing is October 2012. I'm a welder by trade. I love to cook, especially BBQ. I'm the master! I love animals, the water, hanging out with good friends. I love to take my Harley out and ride. I love anything that has to do with Harleys, although I was in a motorcycle accident a few years ago, almost died. I pulled through. I had to use a wheelchair for 18 months, while I was being rehabilitated. My story is pretty common. After my accident, I lost my job. I didn't have money coming in to pay my bills. So I started dealing cocaine. Yeah, I made a few wrong choices. But you know how it is. I didn't want to lose my bike, dog, truck and pretty much everything else. I started dealing drugs to keep what I worked for...I started using again after 20 years of being clean. I lost everything I had including the most important thing in the world, my freedom. Now I have to deal with starting all over again once I get out of here. If there's a woman out there that wants or would like a pen-pal or looking for a long-term relationship, I'm willing to give it my all. If nothing else to have a good friend.
