If you are on parole, probation, the BOP considers you an inmate...If you try to relay inmate-to-inmate messages via a 3rd party the BOP will block and reject your mail...You cannot say hey I wrote to "name" and they said to tell you hello. That's a 3rd party inmate-to-inmate message. This goes for e-mail messages or direct mail. This prisoner requests everyone not do this since they will reject your mail.

I want to first say that I hope by running this ad that I locate some good people who are open to meeting a good-hearted man who at this moment is not at his best since I am isolated 24 hours a day in the federal ADX for a crime I'm not guilty for. I am isolated and seek people who are open minded, loyal and who understand what the words "loyalty" and "friendship" mean in this world when few do!

I am working to gain my freedom at this very moment and if I win my appeals I would be released. My best friend has been working hard to get my story out about the injustice I've suffered at the hands of corrupt government officials and others who had a self interest to lie. The fact is the government paid hardcore criminals with many, many years off their sentences. One got 18 years cut off his sentence to lie on me. If anyone goes to a site on the web www.EddieBranch.org, you will see the story. I went to trial to prove my innocence.

I know the stigma of even telling anyone you know a prisoner, or let alone want to write one; they would look at you as if you're nuts! But, the fact is not all of us are bad people. We just made bad choices. It took me a while myself to wake up and understand life is short and why waste it on negative things. I am 40 years old and now I am on a new path in this chapter in my life and I've turned the page from the old ways and now focus on the positive pages ahead. I am trying to get started on a degree in paralegal services so that I can use my experiences in life to help others who may have strayed into wrong paths. I can also use it to help in my love of writing about the injustice of the poor. I may look all tuff with all my tattoos, but below the surface I am a man with a big heart. Those who have taken the time to know me all find I'm a loyal friend. I am at this point just trying to surround myself with people who can help me move forward in life. I grew up poor in a bad environment and I am now trying to walk another road so that I can live a positive life.

I am 6 foot tall, 185 lbs, with greenish-blue eyes. I am fit since one here must keep oneself healthy since if not you could be in trouble. Since we are locked in our cells so much it's easy to gain a lot of unhealthy habits! I spend a lot of my time reading any books I can get my hands on. I love to write and paint when the mood hits. I'm not that good, but it relaxes the mind!

I hope to hear from anyone who believes all people need a second chance in life. If you read about my story, I'd be grateful if you would tell your family and friends about this injustice.
