Why hello there; this just might be something kind of wonderful for you and me. My name is Thomas, but friends and family call me Mechi. I'm an African American. I'll be 47 years young on September 10th. No one ever guesses my age. Just about everyone says I look 10 to 15 years younger than I am. I would consider myself a down-to-earth, cunningly witty person.

I'm in search of someone I can call a friend. That's not a word I use lightly at all. It is my personal believe that so many relationships fail because too often people simply don't take out the time to become "friends first" and then really get to know each other; and the only way to do that is...by spending some quality time with each other. I enjoy going to the beach, cooking outdoors as well as in, dining out, photography, going to the movies and staying in shape. I take good care of my body. I'm a spiritually conscious person, not overbearing, though. Just enough to know I have to answer to a higher power after all is said and done. Love is not a four-letter word to me. It is so much more than that...I am looking forward to corresponding with beautiful-minded people. I love and accept all races, but I just need one woman I can call my own. And you can rest assured I would take time out to get to know you first...so like Michael Buble says, I just haven't met you yet.
